The African leopard (Panthera pardus pardus) is a subspecies of leopard native to Sub-Saharan Africa. These big cats are beautiful animals, but they are also quite dangerous. They are best admired from a vehicle at a safe distance.
I filmed these leopards in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. Most of them are just chillin out during the day and night, but some are hunting. At 0:35 in the video, you can see a leopard has snatched a baby warthog. It’s sad, but leopards gotta eat, too!
