Some years ago, while hanging out at Mfuwe Lodge in Zambia, I filmed some giraffes (Giraffa camelopardalis thornicrofti) running past the lodge. Something had startled them (no idea what), and they bolted. Giraffes are goofy creatures, but in this moment, their gait was quite graceful.
These scenes were filmed in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. It’s quite a mesmerizing place!
