This is video of a United States Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter demonstrating how the Coast Guard rescues people in the water. I filmed this in July 2016 during Harborfest in Norfolk, Virginia. Harborfest is America’s largest, longest-running, free maritime festival. The waterway featured here is the Elizabeth River between Norfolk and Portsmouth.
