I’ve spent the past few years working the maritime industry, and the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry is one of the many “boat jobs” I’ve had over those years. One of the coolest things about working on the James River is that you can see the sun rise over the river in the east and set over the river in the west.
Anyways, here’s some footage I collected while working at the ferry. The footage is set to the 19th century Scottish sea shanty “The Bonnie Ship the Diamond”. Some of the clips are timelapses, which I wish I’d started doing before my last week at work! But I still got a lot of decent shots. Enjoy!
