You ever been to a hotel like this? Located at Orlando International Airport, this place low key felt like the backrooms, and walking around here at night was eerie and uncanny. My wife and I ended up here after we missed our flight from Puerto Rico and had to take five bajillion connection flights to get back home. One of those flights was an overnight layover in Orlando.
But, compared to the scary backrooms, the vibes here were chill. I’d never stayed in an airport hotel before, but this one was actually pretty sick. From our floor, we got nice views of a mini-park with a fountain located inside the airport’s main building between terminals A and B. It’s definitely not a tropical beach, but it’s waaaaay better than slouching in a chair in one of the terminals.

Our room was nice and clean, and they had a phone to call for room service. The bathroom was also very inviting, and we were thankful for that. We desperately needed a hot shower after a long day trapped at the airport back in San Juan.

Last but not least, our room had a balcony, and we got a bird’s eye view of the air traffic control tower and runways. If you like planes, this is a good place to sit down and watch them from a unique perspective. So, if you ever end up stranded in Orlando International Airport, this ain’t a bad place to rest your head.
